1. What Is front idler ?
The idler plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the track links and preventing their displacement. Furthermore, it supports a portion of the weight, strengthening the track links and reducing the ground pressure they exert. A centrally positioned arm underneath supports the track link, guiding its movement on both sides. A slight gap between the idler and the track roller enhances the overall alignment and directional stability of the track system, ensuring its efficient and precise functioning.
2. Advantages / Features
The product features a wheel body characterized by its distinctive box-shaped design, meticulously crafted through casting processes using either alkaline phenol-formaldehyde resin sand or sodium silicate sand as the base materials. These materials undergo normalization, and the rail surface undergoes medium-frequency induction hardening to achieve a surface hardness of HRC48 to HRC58, accompanied by a hardening depth of at least 4-6mm (reaching HRC45 at this depth). This ensures exceptional resilience to high impacts and wear, even in the most challenging operational environments.
